The other day Evonne was trying to ask Isabel something about something and Isabel was so engrossed in whatever she was doing that either she didn't hear her mother or was just ignoring her.
I overheard Evonne's plea for an answer and knew that it would require her to repeat the question at least three or four more times, at ever increasing volume, so I suggested that she just email Isabel the question. Yes, Isabel has an email address (through my gmail address, so she can't send or receive email without my knowledge, though I don't generally read them, just notice who they are addressed to, mostly relatives and friends.)
So now emailing is one of the communication methods we are using with our nine year old daughter. This can't be a good sign.
